11/17/2021 I used Lanie's answer from 2018. I have a 2012 Touring Odyssey and would have take apart the alarm wiring under the hood if I could have actually been able to do that -- I couldn't. So, I did one more last ditch effort to find a solution on the net. Lanie's answer DID IT. "I took the car to Honda and they told me that if the car is locked via the remote lock, and unlocked via key, it disrupts the circuit and the circuit must be reset. They said to unlock and relock the door manually using the key in the door lock, and then unlock and relock the door using the remote.
