For reference, I have this audio unit. I used to just plug in my iPhone and press the 'Media' button to get songs to play, but it doesn't seem to work with an Android phone. I just get a 'Check USB' message. Is playing songs from my Android phone through Spotify through a USB cable possible with the stock unit? I've tried to connect via Bluetooth, but the car doesn't show up on my phone's Bluetooth settings.

What options do I have? Are there third-party units that I can buy to replace the stock one that play nicely with my Android phone?
