Oct 17, 2023 at 18:53 comment added chocobanana The Ecoflow is used to power a fridge at all times and occasionally to charge a computer or phone. I have no idea if the Ecoflow's BMS can handle load dumps. No idea either about the contact relief relay, I'm a complete car electronics noob! The car will shutoff the 12V ports if the car's battery runs too low, to keep enough energy available to start the car.
Sep 27, 2023 at 14:49 comment added Arsenal Not sure which ecoflow you are using but the manual for the Delta 2 states that you should only plug it in after starting the vehicle to prevent discharging the battery of the car - sadly there is no indication if the Delta 2 would be able to handle the load dump situation. So to really know, ask Ecoflow.

Everything that's connected to this rail will be disabled while starting the engine. You could hook up your battery to this contact, perhaps with an additional relay.

You might want to consider a low-voltage cutoff switch to keep the Ecoflow from continuing to charge from the battery if the main battery voltage drops too low.
Sep 26, 2023 at 14:08 comment added HandyHowie Is the Ecoflow battery able to supply power back into the socket, or is there protection against that?
Sep 26, 2023 at 14:04 comment added HandyHowie They are probably just protecting themselves against any blame. What is the Ecoflow battery for?
