May 31, 2017 at 4:24 | comment | added | Lê Trung | Could I usr SN65HVD1050 ? Because I can't find 1040A. Thanks.
May 29, 2017 at 20:37 | comment | added | Newbie Noob | Like I said try to find the fault, a cheap USB scope should be good enough. If the transceiver goes down again I would swap it with a SN65HVD1040A its directly compatible and is very resilient to faults.
May 29, 2017 at 15:28 | comment | added | Lê Trung | The CAN transceiver is TJA1040, I very sure the can ic is faulty, I replaced 3 Can IC, then I test them with multimeter, they are different with the new IC
May 28, 2017 at 14:18 | comment | added | Newbie Noob | I wouldn't add any extra components as even if they do solve the problem they're only masking it rather than fixing it. There's obviously a problem that needs addressing. What CAN transceiver IC does it use?
May 28, 2017 at 2:12 | comment | added | Lê Trung | Thank you for your reply. I used the multimeter to check the old IC with the new IC, they're differently! I know I have to use the scope to check my CAN system, but I don't have a scope ! Could I buy a USB Scope cheap to check it ? Or Could I use TVS diode + Common mode choke for dashboard, ECU, ABS ... ?
