Oct 24, 2011 at 13:35 comment added Brian Knoblauch Incorrect. Just because the throttle is wide open doesn't mean that there is actually more air coming in. Only as much air comes in as the engine can pump out. Only as much fuel is injected as is necessary for the air coming in.
