In the inside of that column the fabric goes to a crack that is 2 inches down from the ceiling. The fabric seems to be tucked INTO that crack. How do I do that? | |
Oct 11, 2017 at 23:09 | comment | added | Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2♦ | @milesmeow - Not really sure what you're asking, but usually, the fabric extends past edge of the backing and then the pieces of the interior cover over it. The interior pieces are what (for the most part) hold the liner in place. If (like the picture above) there isn't any interior pieces to cover over it, the fabric should go over then end of the backing and can be held there by tape or glue or what have you. This will all be covered behind the backing, so shouldn't be an issue visually. | |

Jan 18, 2017 at 16:39 | comment | added | Robert Stiffler | I did this and it took about two hours to scrape off all the foam and glue the new fabric on. I used a special headliner adhesive made by 3M and it worked great. The hardest part was getting the headliner out of the car. | |
