I have a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the engine oil filler cap gasket is broken. I would like to use the original gasket as a template and make a new one out of gasket material instead of buying a new replacement cap. It seems FEL-PRO makes a variety of types of gasket material, but it's not clear to me which one will withstand the heat of the engine. I need to make it 1/16" thick. Can anyone suggest which material is best or a specific product/part number?
