  • What is the voltage? Are you wanting to replace the light with a relay? What wattage light is it? – HandyHowie Feb 7 at 13:45
  • Is there a shift light output on the tach? Or are you trying to connect this internally? What load are you trying to switch? VTEC solenoids? – Phil G Feb 7 at 15:38
  • yes the shift light is wired to a tach was going to splice the wires – Lynden Feb 7 at 20:02
  • it reads 12v but the live is live all the time switch is on - side and not power full enough to switch the relay – Lynden Feb 7 at 20:03
