I’m having issues with the left front brake or possibly transfer case issues, loud popping sound when sharp Right Turns are made , no vibration felt thru steering wheel or brake peddle popping sound turns into more a hard rubbing sound when accelerating above 30mph !

  • Welcome to Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair! Is the noise happening with transfer in 4wd? If so, you SHOULD NOT turn sharply with the transfer engaged as this causes binding within the transfer, which can then cause damage. This is due to the design of the transfer. When turning sharp, you are causing the front drive line to turn at a different rate than the rear driveline, which causes the binding. When it gets too taught, something has to give, which is where you get the popping sound. – Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 Oct 19 '19 at 18:23
