Yesterday I drove for about 5 miles in urban traffic with my parking brake on in my 2009 Prius. Now my ABS, Brake and vsc lights are all on. They were not on when I parked the car but once parked for a while they stayed on. I thought driving with the brake on was not typically very damaging to these systems (other than maybe glazing and heavy wear on the brake pads). Could I really have damaged these systems or sensors?

  • You need to get the code(s) checked. It's unlikely you damaged a sensor. It may just be a performance code. – Ben Apr 4 '19 at 23:08
