I have the v-8 engine in my Ford Explorer, 2000 year. I bought it with 97000 miles on it. Vehicle was in immaculate shape. Florida car. I had to have the A/C checked, it lost it's cold ness sitting over the summer in my garage. The shop did not find a leak any where. Put in dye. Then put in sealer and re filled it. Now today I was on the highway, had the A?C on max, just not real cold. Switched to regular, still not real cold. Got off the highway down to 35-45 and A/C came in cold. WHY at highway speed did it not blow cold? I did disconnect the heater core. It was leaking and smelling.
