I have a 1989: Honda prelude SI 4ws and from time to time it starts up perfect without messing with the battery but sometimes I have to disconnect the battery and connect it again to start the car why would have to do this please help

  • Welcome to Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair! I would suggest you have an issue with your connection other than where you connect it to the battery (so at the starter, or one of the grounds to the body). By messing with the cables, you reconnect where the break occurs, so then you have connection again. – Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 Feb 23 at 17:54
