I have a 1996 Yamaha virago 535 with 27000 miles and when I start it there’s a tapping noise and it doesn’t go away , when I drive it it calms down a little but if I stop the tapping is noticeable I also have loud pipes but you can still hear it.

When I start it cold the back cyclinder heats up in seconds like stupid hot but the front takes ages to heat up and if I take the spark plug cap off the front cyclinder the bike will still tick over but If I take it off the back one the bike will turn off, I don’t know what’s wrong with it think the tapping noise is from some sort of inbalenece in the carb? Help please
