I hit a curb while turning and noticed I have damage to the sidewall of my tires. I don’t see the chords inside but is this too deep of a cut? These are Toyo Tires and the sidewalls are a bit “meatier” than others. Should I be worried?
As you can’t see the cords or plies, then it should be ok.
Do check it frequently and, if it starts to deform or bulge then replace it.
Do not try and glue it yourself, see a tire place, but they may suggest not gluing it anyway.
As long as none of the cords ripped inside the tire causing a bulge and its not leaking air then your ok.
