Jul 7, 2016 at 12:35 | comment | added | John John | @kmarsh strange how things can go crazy sometimes,I mean I just apply a small amount of the compound on the car paint, and do the job manually. so what is the degree of damage I could have done? is this critical damage or it is acceptable since it is the first time I did so ,, and the paint is considered new? I mean could the worst case scenario is that my whole clear coat layer have been removed or let say 70-80% of it have been removed, of just doing a simple job which took me around 10 minutes!! or critical damage from a compound can come if I do this process usually, which is not the case | |

The amount of damage will depend on how much polish was used and how long it was rubbed, so it will vary over the surface. The only way to tell the extent of the problem is for an experienced person to evaluate the paint. | |

Now i applied a Polish compound. but not sure what do you exactly mean by i have two options; to Polish it by myself or by a professional . i mean i already polish it ? Why do i need to polish it again?
