comment Flaky alarm system
Thank you for giving me a place to start looking. I have been staring at the fuses for awhile but could never figure out the right one.

@Jay, that is a good place to start but you need a mechanic you can trust. It would be all to easy to "find" an issue on an old, high mileage car

comment How do I fix a sagging headliner
@Troggy, I think this is a a common first car experience for a good portion of people. First car check list is 1) Runs 2) Has seat belts 3) headliner sags.

I had a feeling about the frame, didn't know I could use the axle and didn't think about the jack stands. Thank you

comment Wire a headphone jack into a head unit
Well, I'll be, this was an unexpected answer. I never knew that such a thing existed. Makes sense, old TV peripherals used RF modulators.

Thanks, this is a fantastic list. Also replacing the transmission fluid regularly isn't bad. It when it hasn't been replaced and then is flushed that it is bad. I have read that over time, foreign matter builds up. If it is still working, that matter is simply out of the way. When it is suddenly drained and filled, that matter moves and resettles in potentially troublesome spots.
