I am a 24 year old father, developer and designer. At my day job, I work as a certified Java and SalesForce developer to create custom web applications for a variety of clients. Any free time I have left over, after parental duties, is spent learning or honing my craft. I aspire to be a developer others can learn from and count on.

How much of the exhaust is the “cat-back” The astronomical price come from the cat back being only one of three failing items. The others being the entire rear passenger light unit not working (I'm figuring a cracked or loose terminal block) and the struts, brushings, etc assembly. |

What is the durability of a plastic valve cover? It is my beloved '98 Saturn SW2 w/ 1.8L DOHC.It is an absolutely awesome car except the oil puddle it leaves everywhere. The gas mileage is great so I want to use it for trips, but nothing says "Hey, thanks for inviting us," like an oil spot. #Vent |

Maintenance on used car with unknown history @Jay, that is a good place to start but you need a mechanic you can trust. It would be all to easy to "find" an issue on an old, high mileage car |

How do I fix a sagging headliner @Troggy, I think this is a a common first car experience for a good portion of people. First car check list is 1) Runs 2) Has seat belts 3) headliner sags. |
