Engine Coolant Temperature sensor goes bad whenever the outside temperature is hot
Just got back to this problem now. Picked up a new connector from the junk yard and replaced it and the problem seems to be solved. Before changing, I used a multimeter to check the output on the wires about 4 inches away from the sensor and there was none, even though the pins on the sensor still showed appropriate values.
