I am a Paramedic and a Firefighter.

I play with fire trucks, ambulances, cars, and computers for fun.

I am not really sure what you are asking

comment Brakes locking up while driving
@abhi because it's the shotgun approach. ie I don't know what's wrong so change everything in the rear. Even though the OP said it was affecting all four brakes, which pretty much points to the master cylinder, booster, or pedal.

comment A vehicle that needs very little maintenance?
I think the question would be okay if it were reworked. Something like how to determine the overall cost of ownership when shopping for a new or used car. So anyone looking for a car would benefit. Asking us which car should I buy doesn't really do anything for the community.

comment Low beam headlights out, High beam working
This isn't a dup. It's a different car, different wiring design. The only thing they have in common is the low beams don't work. The correct answers would be entirely different.

comment Small two-stroke engine runs poor
Old gas can gum up the carb, unless you used fuel stabilizer. It depends on the quality of the fuel and how long it's sit up.

Any idea how old the fuel is? Have you changed it out?

While this is a true statement it doesn't address the specific question asked. We are looking for specific answers to specific questions.

This question appears to be off-topic because it's not about how to repair a vehicle

comment RPM fluctuation when maintaining speed in high gear
@KingsInnerSoul You said it's been that way for a month or two. It's not a recall, it's a TSB. They don't just randomly check all the TSB's for your car when you take it in, there are many times a hundred or more per car.

If it was a 1958 Plymouth Fury you would have bigger problems.

comment Is there a way to put Prius with dead battery into neutral?
@leo Yes you can, there is a lock cylinder that is opened with a key. It is strictly mechanical so there is no power required.

comment Battery voltage slightly low. Especially when the car's been sitting for a while
@Harv Could be anything really. I worked on an Acura many years ago that the cruise control module was doing it.

comment Subaru Forester OBD Scan Codes “P0130” and “P0130 P”
@ysap The code without the P at the end is a history code, meaning that that code has happened in an earlier drive cycle. The pending code means it's a current code.

Were there any codes? Is the CEL on? Did Auto Zone check the coils? If so how?

comment Cylinder Misfire
I suggest asking two separate questions. Edit this question and remove either the overheating or misfire, and ask a new question for the other.

comment What are MDLA and MDMA?
@Gordon You shouldn't have to take it to the dealer. Call the Parts Department and ask them if they can look it up by VIN number.
