I've been programming since my early teens and like so many of us, I started Basic on the usual home computers like Atari 800XL, ZX Spectrum etc. "Turned pro" about 20 years ago.
I've been mostly doing C++ during this time, writing anything from device drivers for various operating systems to trading systems for banks.

What to do about snapped out retaining pins? I would not drive the car like that - worst case if the right parts shift or go pop, you'll end up with jammed brakes. BTW, you realise that the pins are fitted through the back plate from under the vehicle and not being pushed through the hole from the wheel side? |

What is this component of this RV's engine? Agree with the "it's a smog pump" assessment. The belt was probably removed because these things have a habit of seizing over time and disabling them tends to be a little cheaper than replacing them... |

Cleaning fuel injectors? Sounds to me like their bottom like would run better then :). If you want to try their theory, get a bottle of injection cleaner and pour it into the tank to see if it does make a difference. |

HVAC is not blowing. Is it most likely the blower motor? You want to set it to something that covers at least 15V DC, but yes, that's the principle. One of the connectors is likely to be the ground connector so you might have to identify that first by cross-checking the various connectors (if you have more than two) and then measure the other connectors against ground while you move/turn the fan switchs. |

Do I have an oil leak if I have to add oil? It really depends on the oil that's being put into the engine - you can't really make the definitive statement that the oil needs to be changed more often. A lot of vehicles these days (and even 10 years ago) have oil change intervals in the 7.5k-10k mile ranges if you use the appropriate oil. That of course makes checking the oil level even more important. |
