I've been programming since my early teens and like so many of us, I started Basic on the usual home computers like Atari 800XL, ZX Spectrum etc. "Turned pro" about 20 years ago.
I've been mostly doing C++ during this time, writing anything from device drivers for various operating systems to trading systems for banks.

Audi A4 '05 strange electrical problem? I can't remember why they did it, but I do remember that they've been doing that at least since the late 80s/early 90s. |

How to remove Duct Tape residue? You're going to be OK - what they're basically saying applies only if the car has been freshly painted. If it hasn't been painted in the last 2-3 weeks, you can safely assume that the paint has cured. However, as always I'd check in an inconspicuous place to ensure that the adhesive remover isn't interacting with the paint. |

How do I weigh mileage against time when it comes to scheduled maintenance? Not to mention that "test driving" an overdue timing belt on an interference engine (which I believe most Honda engines are) can very quickly lead to test driving an new/rebuilt engine at much greater cost than a timing belt change. |

Audi A3 Brake warning after MOT I doubt that - normally it's a single wire, some have two but even then it doesn't really matter much which way around they have been connected. Basically they rely on an electrode in the pad making contact with the disk and completing a circuit that way. |
