What have you checked so far?

comment Audi A6 : brighter reversing lights?
That's true, but some of the additional light output is achieved by running the filament hotter, thus giving off more light. This may increase the heat output from the bulb, hence the melted reflectors. Obviously the problem is much worse when you also up the wattage.

The bigger potential issue is that the added light also tends to come at the expense of more heat. Wouldn't be the first time that a reflector melted because someone stuck a higher wattage bulb in there.

comment Ignition switch or starter issues?
First thing I'd do is break out the multimeter and measure voltage at the solenoid to ensure you actually get 12V-ish when the key is in the start position.

comment Wet battery durability based on how we start a motorbike engine
Actually with most bikes, there isn't much of a difference between cases 1 and 2 as they tend to cut the power to the headlight when you crank the starter motor.

comment 2003 Yukon XL 1500 5.3L Very rough, unstable idle on cold starts
Depends - if it was grimy enough so it wouldn't close properly, that would mess up the idle something fierce.

Does the coolant temp gauge show a decrease in coolant temperature when the heater output cools down?

comment Moped bike motor problem carburetor
What does the spark plug look like? Done any plug chops yet? I wouldn't mess about with the mixture (which you are doing) without testing the changes either using a wideband O2 sensor (probably not going to work well on a scooter) or at least some plug chops with a couple of fresh spark plugs.

comment Sputtering while driving & idling
Sounds good. I have a suspicion what it might be but it's much easier to avoid throwing parts at the problem if you know what the ECU is complaining about.

You have a check engine light coming on, right? Get the code read so we can speculate on the reason for the code rather than the description above?

comment How might I fix a dent in a Honda Rebel fuel tank?
Actually, you want a little heat from something like a hairdryer to ensure that the paint softens a little and doesn't crack when the dent is pushed out. The dent might be a little bit too big for the paint to escape unscathed, though.

comment Why would my heater sometimes blow cold air?
Don't forget to check the level again after you've driven the car until it got properly hot and the thermostat opened. Depending on the car and outside temperature, that's probably a good 8-10 miles.

comment Why did GM change the pressure rating of their coolant tank cap for existing vehicles?
As a rule of thumb, yes. Antifreeze can also increase the boiling point somewhat so it might not be an exact 9 degrees. But it's a little more.
