I've been programming since my early teens and like so many of us, I started Basic on the usual home computers like Atari 800XL, ZX Spectrum etc. "Turned pro" about 20 years ago.
I've been mostly doing C++ during this time, writing anything from device drivers for various operating systems to trading systems for banks.

Craftsman Bolt-Out and similar tools Also keep in mind that the material they're made of is most likely harder than anything else you have in your garage and that includes your drills... |

Which is stronger: solid sockets, or two piece sockets? I completely agree, and neither of the sockets above look like a proper impact socket to me. |

How to degauss a distributor The fact that it keeps running if you keep the RPM up instead of letting it idle suggests to me that it's not necessarily an ignition fault. Have you check the idle control valve? |

Carburetted motorcycle stalls when accelerator is applied Ride the bike, do a plug chop. If the engine is running rich, the plug will be black, if it's running lean the deposits on the plug will be almost white. "Bambi brown" is usually close to a good mixture. If the mixture is really rich, you'll also be able to smell it. For the symptoms you describe, it's either a little lean or really rich. |

Honda dealership questionable maintenance Well, for starters, brake fluid is hygroscopic and depending on what your local climate is like, needs to be changed on an annual or bi-annual basis to maintain proper brake performance. |

Does a water leaking make the engine heat faster? Do you have enough coolant in there? |

Turbo losing boost at around 4000 rpm I have a gizmo for testing if the piping holds pressure - it's basically a plastic disk with a pressure gauge and a Schrader valve on it. Downside is that you need access to compressed air to use one. |

Changed radiator, now have misfiring? What you're describing sounds like an ignition issue. I'd check if the plugs and wires got splashed with coolant and then have a look at the rest of the ignition system. Does the check engine light come on? |
