May 10	comment	Prius burns off oil very fast. Is this normal? Depending on the model year, the Prius has 2 drain plugs. Also, the original US Prius takes 2.9 quarts, not 3. Overfilling that model is easy AND bad.
Feb 28	comment	Prius - Maintenance costs over lifetime [0k - 200k] Also, on a couple of road trips I was able to sustain 85 mph for more than an hour. My mileage during those spans never dropped below 42 mpg. That's with 3 people and luggage.
Feb 28	comment	Prius - Maintenance costs over lifetime [0k - 200k] I do not drive conservatively and I average about 48 mpg. My wife now drives my prius and she averages 55, but can get about 60 if she tries. We both drive a mix of highway and city.

Oct 14	comment	How far can I drive with 1 gallon too much oil? the bends are to prevent the stick from vibrating around in the crank case. otherwise, the vibration could eventually cause the dipstick to snap off.
