Consider doing the fuel system cleaner before doing the oil, as ring blow-by can lead to this cleaner getting into the oil. Probably not a big deal, but it's something I try to follow. I'd also consider adding water pump lubricant when re-filling the radiator.

@Joel, John's advice was not "take it to an expert" but take it to a specialist. And someone asking about the "little additive bottles" probably should consider this advice. The advice I've heard over the years is similar, but I've done very little work with radiators.

comment How to deal with rust
There are primer formulas that react with the rust so that you don't need to sand away all of it, but definitely do clean it up. I'd also recommend a wire brush (particularly a motorized one, say as a wheel on a grinder) over a sander, as it tends to get into the craters better and sand off the "high" but otherwise good metal.
