Lost electricity to cab and Engine won't turn over @Larry, ill do that when i get home. Are car battery's much different than truck batteries? IE can I pop my car battery into the truck to get it to the mechanic without hurting it? I can't really see how it would. |

Lost electricity to cab and Engine won't turn over Battery is reading at 12.8 and it still won't start. Only noticeable difference is that when the cab briefly dies after it tries to engage the starter, the cab comes back to life much quicker. |

White smoke from tail pipe on operating temp start @KiloJKilo Ill ask around, I haven't had much experience with this. In my case, it wouldn't redline, it would just get near the top of the heat gauge, and stay there as it bled coolant into the engine, although the bigger telling point here was the coolant level disappearing. |

Lost electricity to cab and Engine won't turn over Ooh, it was 11.8 or 11.9 i think (was rounding up). I didn't know it was that sensitive. I will get it charged and try again. Thanks |

Help deciphering the penny test I ended up finding the wear bars and they were flush with the surface of the tire, so i got them replaced this morning. Then they found that (after breaking off a stud) that my axles are disintigrating, my steering linkage is almost done for, and something that holds oil to the back of the breaks were torn. Bad day for cars. Thanks for the help! |

Manual horn switch Thanks! Mechanic told me it just needs to have a horn, so a switch on the dash, avoiding the airbags, would be easiest |
