Apr 28	comment	Rear Drum brake scraping and brake pulsating Sorry, I wasn't clear. My car's rear brakes adjust by driving in reverse and applying the brake. I didn't replace the pads so I probably didn't need to adjust them in hind-sight. What I mean by periodic is that the scrapping only occurs at a specific point in the wheel's rotation.

I would have thought over adjusting the brakes would cause them to always be rubbing though and not periodic
