Not really. You must also remember Florida is also hotter than Hades, so you might run AC less. Hot weather affects the molecules of both air and fuel in a violent way, as the temperature rises, the molecules collide with each other more. So while the air is the "same" density, the cold calms the molecules in Colorado. This means that the air is still when you are trying to suck it into your engine, versus violently colliding molecules trying to be compressed in Florida.

Are they the pressed in bolts at the bottom? They should have two flat sides where you can place a wrench, or grip them there hopefully. Honestly, if they are still stuck, buy new nuts and bolts and grind them off. Only do this if they are the pressed in kind though.
