comment Low beam headlights out, High beam working
When you say "the wire is hot", you mean temperature -- hot to touch -- not "electrically hot"?

comment Transmission sticky for first 10 mins of driving
You've never had shifting problems before? What have the transmission oil change intervals been? Did they flush the old oil or just drain it?

comment How to replace balljoint?
Eric the Car Guy has a video where he puts a new ball joint into an Acura or Honda front control arm. Not sure how closely that will match yours, but it might give you the gist of the thing. Actual ball joint replacement starts at about 2:50.

comment How do I loosen stuck lug nuts in order to change a tire?
For really stubborn nuts, it's definitely best to hunt down a true breaker bar, with a 1/2" connector if possible -- the sturdier, the better. Too much force can damage the ratchet gear itself.

One thing to note is that sometimes torque alone isn't enough. If there's corrosion at the back of the nut, vibration and heat may be required to break the connection. If you don't have access to an air gun, whacking the end of the breaker bar with a rubber mallet can be helpful.

comment Clutch Catch Point Car Shudder?
My father has been driving stick for decades, and told me he was having lots of trouble getting used to his 2012 Jetta's clutch control. It may just be a difficult clutch.

comment Are there comprehensive parts lists available for vehicles?
According to the answer I got at Determining the size/pitch of bolts and nuts before taking things apart, "parts books" do exist. (Whether or not you can actually track one down is another matter.)

comment How do I remove the front axle of a 93 Honda FourTrax 300?
You're likely going to have to move that jackstand somehwere other than the control arm in order to get the ball joint out.

Why do you need to remove this without taking off the piece above it? Its location suggests that it will be important to torque it back down correctly when reinstalling it. Even if you can get it off with a u-joint or flex-head ratchet, I don't think you'd be able to get a torque wrench in there.
