comment Where can I get button graphics/decals for car interior (preferably for specific models)?
This would be more useful as an answer if you include more information about the company (for example, their website), and declare whether you have any connection or affiliation to them...

Quoting links with very little summary information is frowned upon here as the link can go 'stale' - please summarise what that document says, and declare any affiliation you may have with the site you're linking...

@AndyzSmith I don't know about Automatics (or motorbikes for that matter), I've only ever looked at manual boxes...

@AndyzSmith correct. I suspect that the other reason for gears actually unmeshing is that it would require either moving the shafts away from each other - which would be complicated, or sliding the gears themselves along the shafts, and crashing them into one another - ok-ish when stationary, but at several thousand RPM, that would soon destroy them!

I've never seen any automotive application that involves gears of either type disengaging from each other, AFAIK all gearboxes use dog clutches to engage gear to shaft - but there might be some obscure one I've not come across!

comment Are floor jack and jack stand pads necessary?
again, it depends on the car - most will have other places that are better to use, but some might not... It also depends on what you're doing, for example if you're dropping the suspension, you can't jack it under a suspension mount and so have to use somewhere on the bodyshell.
