comment Does the air screw only affect the pilot jet?
You'll probably need to add information such as what make of motorbike etc. Otherwise this is unlikely to be answerable

comment first “non-replaceable” parts to break
Juann - good car choice! Mine's the Litchfield Forester STi (currently a 400bhp Impreza on slightly shorter stilts). Additional rust area - arches will go not long after doors

comment Can I still use OEM steering wheel controls with an aftermarket head unit?
In looking into the specifics for your setup, I don't think you'll have any luck doing it this way unless you are experienced with disassembling and modifying electronics.

comment Does a strut tower bar have any useful effect on chassis stiffness for a car with 100K miles?
draksia - yes, I regularly replace struts, bushings, entire shocks :-)

comment Low beams don't work but high beams do. What do I do?
What have you checked - have you checked the bulbs? Most likely scenario is they are blown. It happens. If they are fine you need to look at wiring and switches.

comment what engine oil does a 1992 subaru liberty auto stationwagon need? Answers in “w” units please
It will depend on the engine size and running. Subarus typically use 10W40, 5W40 or 10W30 but your manual will tell you which you need.

comment How to assemble a piston ring for cars
What exactly are you having problems with? What have you tried? And also, what type of engine (as it may affect the installation process a little). Are you trying to understand what order to fit the rings (oil control ring, seal, etc)?

comment Huge oil leak but plug still there
If it is just around the filter or sump plug it should be very easy to sort out. Damage-wise, it will depend on how long you ran it with low oil.

comment What would cause a clutch master cylinder to go bad?
CommaToast - it's worth posting this as another question, rather than do it in comments - comments are temporary on Stack Exchange - used to request clarity, but then deleted.

comment i heard a loud whistling/squeeling noise coming from the front tires of my 2004 subaru outback AWD.
Yep - I had a piece of grit stuck between a rotor and pad. It sounded terrible but was only a couple of millimetres across.

user4578 - I edited your post with the info from your comment - you have the privs to do that next time.

comment Why is tire sidewall height expressed as percentage of width?
Asking 'why' seems offtopic and irrelevant. It may be legacy, but it doesn't change anything you need to know to choose tyres.

Why do you mention European? The OP explained the type of car.

comment Brakes slide when pressing on them
What do you mean by 'they slide'? Does the car still slow down? Do the tyres slide on the road?

comment Difference between high octane and low octane?
@sharptooth's answer is arguably more accurate and useful than that linked page, Juann. It has some rather dubious info.

comment Is it normal for stop distance to be long on brand new brake pads?
Hi Ron, Welcome to the site. Your post doesn't really provide any new information. Please have a read of Paulster2's answer, and our How to Answer page for guidance.

comment Why are American cars less efficient compared to european European/Japan cars
albanx - Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Chat is the place for this. Also, I am Scottish, living in Scotland - so I'm guessing that counts as 'response from European'

comment Why are American cars less efficient compared to european European/Japan cars
albanx - no. Some Ferraris do have large engines, but this is irrelevant. I already described the land space. The usage is provably incorrect.
