What does “washed out” mean, in terms of headlights? Or go for a higher wattage ballast if that is the recommended size. |

Wet battery durability based on how we start a motorbike engine Hmm - not sure what scientific references will work. Garage references may be possible :-) |

Switching gears without clutch Yeah, even racing I still use the clutch, but heel and toe-ing speeds up the down changes:-) |

Switching gears without clutch hahaha - very true. But the cheering from the kids in their Recaro baby seats always made up for the eye rolling :-) |

Left signal light indicator stuck on Lynn's comment re load is still valid - something else has failed so the load has been reduced. |

What is the purpose of plastic engine covers? +1 for aesthetics and keeping fluids from getting everywhere. Not sure routing spark plug wires is a main function - not many do that like the VR6 cover, most hide them under the cover :-) |

Is it OK to replace only 2 tires on an AWD car? Anecdotally, another issue - a couple of years back I just got new fronts, and my Subaru got incredibly tail happy. Part of it would be down to the reduced grip at the back end, but part would be because of the extra torque being transmitted to the smaller radius rears. I replaced the rears a week later after ending up pointing the wrong way on a roundabout by accident! |

How old is too old for a new tire? This must be dependent on country - I know tires are very different in UK and USA, but I have never seen age guidelines in the UK. To be honest, I have never kept a set of tires longer than a year so this hasn't cropped up for me before. Mine last approximately 10000 miles before I would want to replace them anyway - for grip reasons. |

What does PRNDSB means? @Brian - in this context you may be right. It is a 4WD with a downhill braking mode, so it is definitely the type of car that could have a snow mode. Updated. |

Why are American cars so inefficient compared to European cars? That may be all you could find, but a quick google search shows me cars in the USA with 1.8 and 2.0 litre engines. And certainly, as time goes on, all countries are trying to produce smaller/more efficient engines as oil will run out, but in any case, my answer is still true. |

What does PRNDSB means? What do you mean,'is it ok'? It is how it is designed. |

motorcycle headlight with single SPDT relay The two relays would be for two headlights. You only have one. |

motorcycle headlight with single SPDT relay Why not just use the circuit given there? If you don't require the sounder, just leave that bit off - it is only there to remind you to turn off the lights. |

how to find if a car can drive on hills easily or not? What do you mean with your second paragraph? If it is front wheel drive there is not going to be a differential for the rear wheels, as there is no transmission to them. |

breaking in (running in) a very small engine +1 100% agree with this. Follow the manual every time. 500km isn't far anyway. |

2011 ford focus ses changing tires Do you mean the tyres aren't coming off the wheel, or the wheels aren't coming off the hub? |
