I have a few questions. When you bled the brakes was it with the help of a second person, hand pump pressure bleeder, pneumatic pressure bleeder? When bleeding was everything normal (air at first followed by nothing but fluid once bled)? Was the master cylinder bled as well (on a bench and/or on the vehicle?) If you pump the brakes does it start to get some pressure in the pedal or no matter what it goes to the floor before you get any bite?

1. Read the comments under the posters Question, balance is suggested here. 2. NEVER use the "heat and hammer" method, this technique offers zero precision, and could usually not do anything about a vibration, but could bend a steel back to the point where the wheel could make contact with the tire and hold air. Some mechanics will still offer to “hammer out” bent aluminum wheels. Never, never allow anyone to hammer out your aluminum wheels. as the most likely outcome is a cracked or destroyed wheel. Even if the wheel does not crack, the alloy will be damaged.

When releasing the clutch does it return to the proper rest position? If you open the bleeder screw on the slave cylinder does it free the clutch? The gearbox being broken is almost 100% false since there was no noise or warning. After examining the system diagram that's where I would start. Can you provide a quick history on the car? Recent repairs and anything you've checked so far.

Is the van overheating? Shifting erratically? Check engine light on? Is the transmission fluid low? As much info as you can gather will help us help you.

I can see that being true for a private sale but not for something sold by a dealership. It doesn't cost them much time/effort to simply order a kit and manuals in the proper language.

Yeah their selection is bar-none. That's one of the main reasons I went this route. The order process painless, and the product shows up quickly. And they were very good at keeping me updating if there were any questions / concerns. (at least they were when I delt with them 8 months ago)

They work well, as long as you can get the material to look something like the before photo. It is compairable to patching a hole in a wall. The more effort and patience that is put into the work; The better the result.
