f=ma or a = f/m so increase force or reduce mass.

comment Do I really need a lathe to turn my rotors?
I had my discs skimmed just once, when some pads wore through and the rivets scored the nearly new (one set of pads) discs. Usually they have just worn down, and been replaced. I would think if you ever ever heat them it may be a good idea.

If it is the same people each time, then go to a chemistry site and ask what you can add to the fuel that will make it smell of 10 day old nappies (dippers).

I have no experience of the problem, but have read on the box, not to touch or get oil on them. I think you can clean with white spirit and a clean disposable white kitchen cloth (without print as the ink comes off).

comment Does a water leaking make the engine heat faster?
Depending on where the leak is there could be a common cause for the over heating and the leak.
