comment How do keyless ignition fobs charge?
Agreed, the battery should last a very long time. Most batteries are replaced by simply splitting the remote.. Look around the edges and you will typically find a notch to place a coin that you can trust to pry it open

comment RPM and duration to recharge a battery?
This is a terrible idea for your alternator. Charging a dead battery using the alternator puts tremendously more strain on the internal components... It can particularly burn through a set of brushes in the alternator very quickly (which here in the US you typically can't replace separately)

comment Tire compatibility
This can cause some bad problems... if the circumference is only a little off, vehicle speed won't read correctly. This could cause shifting problems and possibly damage on all wheel drive systems. ABS and traction/stability control could be adversely affected as well.

comment Volkswagen Golf MKV Fault log
There are a lot of possible scenarios. You need to compare graphs of MAF, O2s front and rear, throttle position, etc. to try and identify (and yes if you know what you are looking at you can even narrow down vacuum leaks and exhaust leaks with these graphs)

comment How many amps should my car be pulling while it is turned off?
Just fyi, typical drain key off (and the vehicle must sit for 30-45 minutes to ensure all modules go to sleep as well! ) is to be under 0.05 amps, or 50 milliamps.

comment Car keys off but fuse still lights up the tester when set to ground
When checking the draw, you need to let it sit for 5-45 minutes depending on the car to allow certain modules to power down. After that time, you should expect less 50 mA (.05A). .8A when first connecting the meter after having removed the terminal is typical - but must let it sit and then check to be sure. Things powering on when reconnecting is fairly normal as well. What brought you to checking all this?

comment Corsa Sport (2007) low compression cylinders 2 & 4
There's also the possibility of blown rings, scored cylinders, or fuel washing out the cylinders. Often, pushing a small amount of compressed air using a compression testing adapter (running full 90psi shop air is too much) into the cylinder can give you a good indication by listening (exhaust/intake for valves, oil fill tube for rings/cylinder, bubbling in radiator for head gasket).
