What could be the reason for intermittent behavior of a window switch? I opened up the door and disconnected the motor and checked to see if I saw a voltage change when I clicked the switches and sure enough I saw +12 volts and -12 volts for up and down. I've all but ruled out the switch. |

What could be the reason for intermittent behavior of a window switch? Just checked out the switch and it seemed to work okay. And I could tell 12 volts was getting to the motor and that it was reversed when I reversed the switch. But could BOTH motor work and then be broken intermittently like that? Maybe it's a heat issue (live in Phoenix, AZ) . . . what parts could be susceptible to heat? |

Do I have an oil leak if I have to add oil? @MarkJohnson It's just the little picture of a...well, I don't know what it is but it's what we accept as a representative of oil. Should be changed to a Chevron icon or something for future generations. |

How should the lights for a trailer be hooked up? Wow. Just Wow. I'll go over this later and let you know how it turns out. One of my biggest problems was that a bulb wasn't making good contact and that threw me off! |

The headlights dim to almost off when I turn off the engine. How do I test the battery? What is "forever" in battery speak? I thought the 4-5 years I got with my current was "forever" in the heat of AZ since everyone selling batteries here insists you pay more for the bigger warranty battery since you are sure to get a new one free! The one I have now is a Kirkland/Costco brand made in Mexico. |
