Holden Commodore not moving Maybe check the transmission fluid levels? It sounds like clutch isnt engaging with the engine. |

Honda Prelude: digital fuel and temp gauges dimming and brightening repeatedly @KromStern All the other lights are fine. The effect doesnt seem to be related with the engine speed, though it does seem to have a 'warm up period' of about 5mins where it is completely blank. |

Honda Prelude: digital fuel and temp gauges dimming and brightening repeatedly @hillsons I dont think so. It also dims right down to the point were it is only barely visible. |

'92 Toyota Corolla with a oil leak Perhaps the oil pump? Can you tell from where abouts in the engine it is dripping from (eg: front left side) |

Brake lights on '94 Honda Prelude stuck on Thanks - your are correct! For anyone else who is having trouble like this with this particular model of car, the switch is activated when released - ie when the brake is 'off' the switch is held down but when the pedal is pushed, the switch is released. I found that there was a plastic pad connecting the pedal to this switch. The plastic had disintegrated. I replaced mine with a small bolt of equal thickness. |

What can cause the squeak sound in the front right when driving faster then 70 km/h I might also add that a rock in the disc brake or worn brake pads may also cause squeaking near the wheel (even when not applying the brake). |

Rough noise while accelerating For all of them probably around $1000 (maybe a bit less). If you want to save cash you could just get the main essential belts replaced and not worry too much about the ones that power the aircon/power steering. I'm not sure this would be your propblem though - just a guess |

Rough noise while accelerating How long ago were the timing belts replaced (these are the rubber belts at the front of your engine that operate the valves as well as other features like water pump, power steering and air con. These should be replaced perhaps every 60K miles or so, so maybe yours are old?) |

Motorcycle popping on acceleration Im sure you did, but did you make sure you had the right spark plug? Some are 'hotter' or 'colder' then others. It may be that the fuel isnt igniting properly and flooding the engine |

Car revs high when changing from third to fourth It could be your clutch plates are worn out and not gripping straight away. Do you notice high revs but limited movement when you accelerate quickly or perform a hill start? |

Motorcycle: Honda VTR 250 difficulty starting Winter in Brisbane, Australia about 15 degrees Celsius in the morning when I start the bike. I've measured the voltage - its at just over 12volts with the engine off |
