comment Honda hybrid fan on after engine off
I just realised that if the car shuts down the combustion engine while I'm idling at red traffic lights (which is what hybrid cars do), the fan had never turned on for that, even after two minutes. Then isn't the engine controller/computer "hypocritical", in not averting engine block meltdown in one case but not the other?

comment Honda hybrid fan on after engine off
Why then is it found only in my Honda, which has a diminutive 1.3L engine? Why? Aren't other cars, with larger and newer engines also of Al content cooling their engines down? I mean, in the parking lot just outside the doors of the office, my car is the odd one out. People would be walking pass my car and hearing this fan sound from a motionless car like as though the engine is still on.

comment How will I know clutch pads need replacing?
Whoever voted this down, fyi, I read that "Although the clutch is normally nested between the pressure plate and the flywheel, thus invisible unless dismantled, some vehicles may have an exposed clutch surface that can be visually inspected without removing the clutch."

If the clutch pad is bad, why would changing of gears stick? The changing of gears would not involve the pads, would they? Because, one could change gears without issue but the issue should happen when I release the pedal to re-engage the transmission, after changing gears not before. My question is about manual transmission.

'oil so cheap compared to the price of the car" the price I paid for the car is half the price my colleague paid to repair his new subaru.

green.autoblog.com/2011/03/16/…. Looks like if my oil is still golden and viscous, why not use it than to let Valvoline harvest it?
