Car is frozen. cannot start Sounds like the starter isn't turning over at all, yes? Either the starter has failed (new starter time) or it is jammed somehow (engine physically frozen). |

Auto transmission shifting late, staying in low gear Check the fluid level. Also have a garage or parts store (Pep Boys, Autozone, etc) check the codes with their reader and see if anything comes up. |

Pressing brake pedal during vehicle operation feels “choppy” ? You should definitely get it fixed. Having the brakes jerk the steering and suspension around can eventually damage things, making the repairs much more expensive than just rotors + pads. |

Pressing brake pedal during vehicle operation feels “choppy” ? Also, note that some rotors are not thick enough to be turned. |

BMW 330xi car keys dead True, although if his keys are only 5 years old the batteries are likely still ok if the are rechargeable. The batteries in my E39 keys will be 11 this spring and they're still working. |

What is this panel on the front of BMWs for? IIRC, they are also used as tie-down points when the cars are on a cargo ship. |
