Intermittently fluctuating/non-functioning speedometer in Volvo 940. Possible causes? The 940 has 3-channel ABS in which the rear wheels are treated as a single unit. The speed sensor signal used by the speedometer is the same sensor used by the ABS to measure the speed of the rear wheels. I think that's why your ABS warning light is on. |

Do I have to get another Volvo? What Volvo model did you have? Some older Volvos (e.g., the 900 series) had engine cooling fans that would sometimes continue to run for a few minutes, but I'm not aware of any feature to dry out the A/C. |
