What is the Magic ON temperature for Electric Fans? Did it originally come with an electric fan, or are you replacing the original mechanical fan? |

Maxima (2002) MAF Sensor Failures What kind of failure mode? Completely dead or just returning garbage values? You're positive the ones you've gone through haven't just gotten dirty from sucking some contaminated unfiltered air? |

Car not starting What's the make and model of your vehicle? Do you mean you changed the engine oil, power steering fluid, engine coolant and wiper fluid? Or did you just top off low fluid levels? |

EVAP System or faulty CEL? I thought there would be a stored code present even if the CEL was off, but I could be wrong. If it comes back on, get it pulled if it stays on long enough. Code readers are pretty cheap nowadays and they're handy to have around. |

EVAP System or faulty CEL? Even if the light is off, there might still be a stored code. Might be worth checking. |

EVAP System or faulty CEL? What was the exact code? There are multiple possibilities for the EVAP system. |

Cooling fans not running Chris Ah, I see you did have a bad temp sensor. Confusing that it would feed a believable signal to the dash gauge yet be off enough to screw up fan activation and cause the engine to overheat. Sometimes that's hard to diagnose. I've driven multiple vehicles where the powertrain controller waits so long before turning on any fans that I find myself turning on the A/C to force it to engage a fan. |
