Removing Rust from 2010 Civic Doors @ashes999 I haven't tried it, but I'm guessing yes: google.com/search?q=vinegar+rust+removal |

Permanent fix to AC drain clogging in '94 Jeep Grand Cherokee? @Iszi The image in my head is like a clogged pipe or gutters -- a leaf gets in there, gets wet, and gravity just keeps it there. It's also probably never going to dry as it can't evaporate on the solid side and is regularly exposed to moisture. A leaf on top of a screen has a chance to dry and float away or be washed off the screen. Imagine a screen on top of gutters at your house versus no screen and how leaves might behave differently |

Cost to alter the transmission system I looked into this years ago for an A>M conversion. Unless you have a complete donor car to cover all the things Brian said, forget it. That said, the other car can be totaled and you can scrap the metal afterwards. |

How to diagnose “Creaking” / “Scraping” sound when entering parking lots? @Robbie Often a seal or gasket will wear out over time, or the metal that passes through it will develop some kind of nick. If that fluid leaves, the damping ability is greatly reduced. |

Tips for an oil change at home: cleanliness and disposal? I bring it to my friend's auto shop. He has a used oil heating system. It's the getting it there without a mess operation that challenges me. |

Remote autostart suggestion One mile? You'll probably have to get your amateur radio license and customize something if you want that kind of distance. |

Tubeless Bead Won't Seat @BrianKnoblauch Agreed. I wore ear plugs for the remainder of my attempts. I'll remind myself to use glasses or a shield next time I seat a bead. Thanks! |
