Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for mechanics and DIY enthusiast owners of cars, trucks, and motorcycles. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I've had an accident where the other person was at fault, and repairs are covered by their insurance (except it happened in Ontario, so, I'm actually dealing through my own insurance, but there are no deductibles, since I'm not at fault).

I've had some work done in regards to the repairs at a shop on the west cost, I'm now relocating to the east cost, shortly after repairs were completed and I found that some of them were not done to my satisfaction (paint got cracked; bumper not attached properly, missing some hinges or somesuch etc).

Will the insurance pay for such repairs which would have been done for free at the shop on the west coast, if I absolutely need to relocate to the east cost prior to the shop being able to take care of the newly found issues?
