Can I have the same key operational on both cars. The all i need is one key - sometime we switch cars.

Could you possibly do this? Yes, but it would require dealship intervention. You'd have to purchase new identical lock cylinders for both vehicles, then have them programmed into the ignition system. I don't believe there is any way you could do this yourself. The MB anti-theft system is a prickly one. – Paulster2 Jul 7 '14 at 13:44
