Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for mechanics and DIY enthusiast owners of cars, trucks, and motorcycles. It's 100% free, no registration required.

When I go to any particular automotive parts site, I can use their "wizard" to determine which battery is best for my vehicle that they sell.

I'm trying to put together this information for a wide variety of vehicles, and I was wondering if there are any websites that allow you to dump all of this data into a spreadsheet or database to work with?

Does anybody have and references for data like that?

this is not the site for you to be asking how to collate large amounts of data about cars. It is for asking questions on how to maintain a car. – Patrick Jun 11 '11 at 2:55

I would think your best chance of a source on that would be the battery manufacturers themselves.

I don't see it being beneficial to a retailer to give out that information outside of their website since it would be a potential loss of business.
